What began as a missions trip to Maine ended in the birth of Jimmy’s Fat Rolls. Jim and James stood in line for two and a half hours for Maine’s “best” Lobster Roll and when they began to eat it they both thought the same thing: “anything would be great on this roll!” It was a buttered and toasted New England style split top roll. They continued to discuss it throughout the trip and even came up with a potential business name with the help of Jim’s brother-in-law. What started as a joke quickly turned into a reality. When they returned, they began to do tastings with family and friends and eventually signed up to do their first event in December 2018. In early 2019 they purchased a food trailer, and in 2020 they purchased their first food truck.  JFR has been voted Best Food Truck on the Shore for three years running (20-21-22), thank you to our amazing customers! JFR continues to grow as word spreads about their famous Fat Rolls™.  Most Saturday's you can find them at out in QA County, just check the FB page for locations and times.  Do you have an event coming up or a wedding that you need catered?  JFR can take care of that as well.  Breakfast, lunch or dinner they can do it all!
